What is B.O.N.E.S.?

B.O.N.E.S. is a pirate crew with as much love for music and entertainment as for rum and plunder. Formed in 2011 by a group of veteran performers, the members of B.O.N.E.S. hail from all across New England and collectively possess decades of experience in singing, musicianship, stage combat, and crowd interaction. Each member of the crew has developed their own unique character and appearance, and is more than prepared to engage audiences and transport them to another time and place with their performance.

B.O.N.E.S. focuses on keeping the tradition of shanties alive and strong by performing them for the public. Each of their maritime work songs is family friendly, and most encourage audience participation with their simple and fun choruses and callbacks.

With a total crew of nearly thirty┬ápeople, B.O.N.E.S. can guarantee a minimum of six pirates to invade your venue, unless you request more (or fewer). During the course of a standard (6- to 8-hour venue), B.O.N.E.S. is prepared to perform up to four sets of their songs, each lasting approximately 30 minutes, though they are more than willing to adjust to meet your venue’s specific needs.

B.O.N.E.S. is much more than a mere stage act! You can expect the entire crew to roam about your venue to interact with families, sing songs, play music and games, and overall bring an extra layer of life and excitement to your event.

In addition to their shanty show, B.O.N.E.S. will soon have a stage combat show to offer. The crew members are variously trained in the use of swords, daggers, staves, and hand-to-hand combat, and are eager to demonstrate their skills!
